"On my first night at the show, there was a fantastic little moment when, on one of the paths, I carefully walked around a puddle, and an actor playing a Civil War soldier in knee-high boots strode right past me and through it: such a moment could never even be attempted in a conventional theater."

Saïah's Terminus stops traditional theater in its tracks
"Terminus, playing through May 17 at a 28-acre Decatur nature preserve, pushes the company's site-specific, interactive ethos even further, tailoring a show to a unique location while ensuring that the audience members are more than passive observers."
"Shows such asTerminus send live performance down a new path without the benefit of a map. But you can't make fresh discoveries without entering uncharted territory."

The End Point and the Journey in SAÏAH's "Terminus"
SAÏAH International is an Atlanta-based theater company known for both adaptations of classic works and for non-traditional staging. True to form, their latest production--titled Terminus--takes Richard Adams’ novel Watership Down (yes, the one about the rabbits) and sets it in the American Civil War.
WABE’s Myke Johns sat down with the creators of the show and has the story.
